4. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is collected to ensure trouble-free operation of the website and to detect and defend against attacks. This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website).
Contact form
When you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form (name, email address, message) including the contact details you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Additionally, your IP address is recorded for the purpose of abuse prevention (spam protection, rate limiting). We do not share this data without your consent.
The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures), insofar as your enquiry is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, or on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
5. No use of external services
This website does not load any external resources (such as Google Fonts, analytics, tracking scripts or social media plugins) from third-party servers. All resources (fonts, scripts, stylesheets) are served locally from our own server. Therefore, no data is transferred to third parties when simply visiting this website.
6. Purpose of data processing
We process your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
- Provision of the website: Technical operation and ensuring the functionality of the website.
- Contact: Answering your enquiries via the contact form and carrying out desired communication processes.
7. Storage duration
Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned under point 6 or as required by law.
- Server log files are usually automatically deleted after 14 days.
- Data from the contact form is only stored for as long as is necessary to answer your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
- In addition, we are subject to statutory retention obligations (e.g. under the German Commercial Code and Tax Code), which may provide for retention periods of six to ten years. After these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be deleted.
8. Recipients of data
Your data will generally not be passed on to third parties unless:
- there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g. to authorities),

- the disclosure is necessary to protect our legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data.
The hosting provider Hetzner, as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, has technically conditioned access to the data stored on the server.

- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to request information about whether and which personal data we process about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You have the right to request the immediate erasure of personal data concerning you, provided the legal requirements are met.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You have the right to request the restriction of processing if certain conditions are met.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR.

10. Right of withdrawal
If the processing of your data is based on consent you have given (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR), you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal.
11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

12. Obligation to provide data
The provision of personal data is voluntary. However, failure to provide certain data may mean that we are unable to process your enquiries. For example, if you do not provide an email address, we cannot reply to you by email.
